FAQ around TREKTOR

What is hybrid motorization?

TREKTOR works only with electric power. However, it has a diesel generator that allows it to recharge its batteries in the field. This system allows TREKTOR to have greater working autonomy.

To recharge its batteries, TREKTOR can also be plugged to the mains.

Can TREKTOR be controlled manually ?

Yes, TREKTOR can be controlled manually with a joystick to adjust the implements in the field and to start the machine in automatic mode.

How are the fields surveyed?

The fields are surveyed by satellite points with RTK precision (~2cm).

Who trains us to use TREKTOR?

Our distributors are trained by the SITIA for the maintenance, support, and use of TREKTOR. Your distributor is able to train you to use your machine. They will issue you a certificate proving this training.

How do we know if our plots are eligible for agricultural robotics?

A free diagnosis of your plots is made by your distributor in order to check the eligibility of your land for the good use of a TREKTOR.

What is the autonomy of TREKTOR ?

TREKTOR has a range of autonomy of up to 24 hours. TREKTOR works all in electric power (up to 4h) and with diesel recharging in the field. It continues to work while recharging its batteries. Thanks to its diesel generator, it is able to carry out an extended working day.

What is the consumption of TREKTOR?

TREKTOR is an electric robot with extended autonomy. Due to its electric operation, it consumes up to 60% less than a thermal tractor of the same category. It consumes 3L/h on average.

How does TREKTOR’s track and height expand?

On the mobile application, you indicate the desired track width. TREKTOR will automatically change its track by driving at low speed until the desired value is reached.

The height is changed by actuating cylinders in the rear legs of the machine. Both operations are done in less than a minute.

What is the power of TREKTOR ?

Equivalent to 40/60 HP thanks to its energy efficiency.

Which implements can be used with TREKTOR?

TREKTOR has a 3-point hitch cat 2 at the rear as on traditional tractors and a hitch between wheels. Mechanical, electric, and hydraulic implements can be hitch to TREKTOR. TREKTOR provides 8 kW of power for the implements. The hydraulic system delivers 35 l/min at 180 bar.

TREKTOR can lift 700 kg of implements, and tow up to 1.2T.

How is TREKTOR programmed?

Two tools are provided:

  • A mobile/tablet application that allows you to plan the upcoming work (tools, plots, duration of work, speed, …)
  • A secure controller that allows you to adjust the tools and position TREKTOR at the beginning of your plot and also allows you to load and unload TREKTOR from your trailer.
